Trying to learn how to train that puppy of yours? Well I have some good tips and strategies as well as some links to help you along the path. Remember don't get mad get ALPHA.
Tip 1. Dog training is really about two things, communication and that communication is a two way street. Learning how to really communicate with your dog is learning about how to think in the world that they see, not your own. Try to Understand pack structure, learning to control your own emotions and the importance of exercise, discipline and positive reinforcement are vital elements of a successful dog training program.
Tip 2. Being able to establish what is right and wrong to the dog. Every time the dog does something wrong you should make sure that you tell your dog 'NO' in a firm and stern voice, make sure that you do this the same way every time in order to make sure that the dog understands that it is doing wrong your dog should start recognizing what not to do. On the other hand if your dog does what it is told to do, then it should be rewarded with a treat, something like a dog snack, or even a good pat-on-the-head, or belly will go a long way with your pet. This will also really help it understand that your pet is making good decisions over of bad decisions, but you must be consistent in your methods to make it easier on your dog and yourself. Please never hit or abuse your dog for doing something wrong, Dogs will respond better and learn more easily if they are not afraid of being hit when they do not make the best decisions.
Tip 3. All you need to do, is the best that you can do. So keep trying, don't give up and remember the bond you will form will be worth the hardship's that may come.
